About the course
With a solid foundation in Microsoft Office Access, it’s time to explore advanced features such as database management, advanced form design, packaging, encryption, multi-user access preparation, and more. These skills distinguish database professionals from casual users or occasional designers.
This is the third part of a three-course series aimed at providing you with the necessary skills for basic database design and development in Microsoft Access 2019/2021. Level 1 covers the design and construction of a database, including viewing, navigating, searching, and entering data, as well as basic relational database design and creation of simple tables, queries, forms, and reports. Level 2 focuses on optimizing the database, including performance optimization, data normalization, data validation, usability, and advanced queries, forms, and reports. Level 3 (this course) delves into managing the database and supporting complex designs, including data import and export, action queries, complex form and report creation, macros and VBA, and tools and strategies for managing, distributing, and securing the database.
